Management Position Available: HIA Senior Teacher [closed]

Shane English School Taiwan is currently seeking applicants for the position of Senior Teacher at Hankel International Academy (HIA) in Linkou (New Taipei City). Start date can be flexible.

Duties:
The main responsibility will be to work alongside the Director of Studies to support the teaching quality of our academic program at HIA. HIA is the flagship school of Shane Education, catering specifically to very young learners enrolled in all-day English and bilingual programs. The Senior Teacher is expected to teach when required and cover teachers whenever time off is requested by the teaching staff. Other responsibilities include managerial duties, curriculum development, and collaboration with faculty and staff to ensure quality academic experiences for students.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of EFL teaching methodologies and practices
• CELTA/TESOL or equivalent
• At least two years’ teaching experience, including at least one year with very young learners/kindergarten (Shane experience is an advantage but not a requirement)
• Strong inter-personal skills
• Strong administrative and organizational skills
• Computer literacy and competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and other basic computer software applications
• Previous supervisory and teacher training experience (preferred, but not essential)
